Valentine’s
Day is the holiday for remembering and appreciating the people we love.
But what about the things around us we love? And the beautiful cities we
call home?
This Valentine’s Day we want to appreciate the city we love so much – Phoenix! I’m sure you can think of a few of your favorite reasons for living in this city. And here we’ll mention just a handful of ours!
The Arizona Beauty
Not only is the city of Phoenix a beautiful place to call home, the entire state of Arizona is the subject of so many breathtaking images. We’re lucky enough to call this place home and see these amazing sights in person. The desert landscape. The colorful sunsets. The varied terrain. The sprawling mountain ranges. Nothing makes us fall in love with Phoenix more than a beautiful view or a snapped photograph.
An Abundance of Activities
For the sports enthusiast or the person that just hates to be home on the weekends, Phoenix is the perfect city to stay busy and entertained. Whether it’s the desire to hit a new golf course every weekend or the thrill of an NBA, NFL, NHL or MLB athletic event, Phoenix doesn’t disappoint. And for those that just want to soak up the scenery in the great outdoors, head out for some cycling, rock climbing or hiking.
The Incredible Weather
This one’s just a given – isn’t it? One of the biggest draws to Phoenix is that the weather is beautiful most of the year. Sure, there are some hot months, but the dry heat makes it manageable and tolerable. But most importantly, long gone are the dreaded winters of shoveling snow and wearing seven layers of clothing just to walk out of your home. This is exactly why so many Midwesterners and Northerners are heading South to our comfortable city of Phoenix.
The Proximity to Quick Getaways
It’s not hard to stick around Phoenix most of the year but if you feel like you need a little time away, you’re in the perfect place to spend just a little time traveling to be in a completely new and different place. Take a drive to Vegas for a weekend of sin. Head South of the border for some margaritas and beautiful beaches in Mexico. Hit the slopes in the mountains of Northern Arizona. Or take a scenic drive through Malibu.
Plenty of Arts and Culture
For those hailing from parts of the country where actors take the stage nightly, musicians hit the streets to entertain, and art museums are abundant, Phoenix doesn’t disappoint either. With plenty of cultural events and festivals happening across the city year round, all residents will have a reason to be out on the town every weekend.
Phoenix
is not just a place made up of beautiful scenery and a desirable
climate, it’s culturally diverse and spilling over with wonderful
restaurants, nightlife and activities. It’s the perfect place to raise a
family, enjoy the golden years, or celebrate anniversary after
anniversary with the city you fall in love with year after year.
